Edgar Cruz, MD, Henry Ford Hospital
Family Medicine


Dr. Cruz is a longtime member and generous supporter of the Hispanic Coalition.  He not only contributes financial support but he donates his time, knowledge, and free medical screenings for the Hispanic community.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


Thomas J. Reed, President and CEO
Catholic Social Services of Macomb


Tom Reed is a founding member of the Hispanic Coalition.  He was the first Chair of the organization and after stepping down from the Chair his organization has been our fiduciary to the present day until we receive our 501c status.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


Syeda A. Ali, Branch Manager, Charter One Bank

Syeda Ali has shown an interest in our organization and would like to support us in any way necessary.  She has attended our meetings and is the branch manager of a bank in the central area of the Hispanic community of Macomb.
She has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


Sandro Andretta, Banking Center Manager, Vice President, Comerica Bank

Belonging to an organization with a strong history of community reinvestment and social contributions, such as Comerica Bank, Sandro is one of the original members of our Board of Directors. His personal interest for the Hispanic culture and tradition makes him an enthusiastic member of the Hispanic Coalition. Throughout his long banking career, he has helped many immigrants with their financial needs, with the purpose to improve them to be well-integrated citizens and to promote the multi-ethnic diversity that Comerica Bank aims to.

Vicente Sanchez, Consul of Mexico

Vicente, as Consul of Mexico, services most of Michigan and Ohio.  He is a very dedicated individual and is very interested in serving the County of Macomb.  He is seeking  community organizations like ours to connect to the Hispanic community in Macomb.  He has been a supporter of our events and has attended our meetings or sent a representative in his place.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


Kasim Ali, DDS, P.C
New Baltimore Family Dentistry


Dr. Ali has supported the Hispanic community with pro bono dentistry at our request and has shown an interest in our organization.  His family dentistry office is in the central area of the Hispanic community of Macomb.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


Edwin Soler, MD, Wound Care Specialist
Physicians Residential Services


Dr. Soler is part of a mobile wound care service in the Hispanic community of Macomb.  He has shown an interest in our organization and will bring community expertise to our Board of Directors.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.


David Underwood, Principal Account Manager, Ethnic Marketing
DTE Energy


David Underwood is involved in community outreach and is a generous supporter of the Hispanic community in Detroit.  He has shown an interest in our organization and of becoming involved in Macomb County.  David will be an asset to our organization because
of his knowledge of the Ethnic organizations of Metro Detroit and of his involvement in their events.  Our organization will need the input that he will bring to our Board of Directors.
He has accepted a volunteer position on our Board of Directors.  One annual meeting is mandatory and any special meetings when and if the need arises.

David S. Maquera, E.S.Q.
Meisner & Associates, P.C.


David is Hispanic and is very interested in becoming involved in the Hispanic community.  He has attended our monthly meetings, worked on our sub-committee and will be an asset to our Coalition.

Alfred M. Orasco, Cultural Diversity Program Coodinator
Consumers Energy


Alfred is of Hispanic and Native American heritage and is involved in the Cultural aspect of both ethnicities.  He has attended our monthly meetings and desires to be involved with our Coalition.  He will bring a cultural facet to our outreach activities.
